Cooking Inspiration

Classic Pan-Sear: Season with sea salt and cracked black pepper. Fry in a hot pan with a knob of butter and a sprig of sage for 4–5 minutes per side.

Pork Schnitzel: Flatten the steaks with a mallet, coat in flour, egg, and golden breadcrumbs, then shallow fry until extra crispy. Serve with a wedge of lemon.

Creamy Mushroom Pork: Pan-fry the steaks, set aside, and use the same pan to sauté mushrooms and garlic. Stir in a splash of double cream and pour over the meat for a decadent dinner.

The BBQ Grill: Marinate in a honey and soy glaze for 2 hours before hitting a hot grill to achieve a sweet, smoky char.


Cooking Instructions

Pan-Fry: 4–6 minutes per side over medium-high heat.

Grill: 5–7 minutes per side under a medium grill.

Butcher’s Tip: To keep pork steaks exceptionally juicy, allow them to rest for 3–5 minutes after cooking. This keeps the juices inside the meat rather than on the plate!
